When it comes to thyroid problems it’s all about lab testing & interpretating the results.

The ONLY way to know if your symptoms (fatigue, weight gain, etc.) are due to your thyroid is through lab testing.  AND (I hear this one all the time) even though you’ve had thyroid lab tests and your doctor tells you that don’t have a thyroid problem doesn’t mean that the right thyroid tests were done NOR does it tell you that your results were interpreted properly.

Besides, when it comes to thyroid hormones we are not looking for normal, we are looking for OPTIMAL.  Who wants to live with normal?  We want vitality and lots of it!!

There are basically two types of hypothyroidism.  One is called primary and the other secondary.  They have identical symptoms but have two different causes.  (please note that if you clicked ‘primary’ you will read that thyroid autoimmune disease is the most common cause which most docs don’t check for- this will be covered in another blog).

Neither primary or secondary develops overnight.  It takes years and often decades until finally the thyroid hormones decline into such a state of deficiency.  Why wait decades?  Now is the time when thyroid hormones are suboptimal to apply several natural therapies that are effective in restoring optimal thyroid hormone levels.

I would like to hear what you have experienced. Do you think you have a thyroid issue and you can’t seem to get a straight answer? Are you on medication? Are you looking for answers and need help? I want to hear your comments.  I want to start a dialog.

Much appreciated!
